Match on action
a match on action is a technique which is used in film editing it's a cut that connects two different views of the same action at the same moment in the movement. it carefully matches the movement across the two shots. film makers make the shot seem that it was unedited. for a real match on action the action should begin in the first shot and finish in the second.

Action shot 2

This is the second shot showing us a wide shot of the actor making it seem like it was unedited and was just a continuation of shot number one.
Shot reverse shot
A shot reverse shot usually frames each speaker usually (2-4) in a medium close up shot as he or she says a line from the script. The shoulder or the profile of the listener is normally seen slightly out of the frame while the camera is focused on the speaker.
